Slam Cartel – Vanishing Worlds

I am happy for having a chance to share the music from my hometown today.

Slam Cartel are a 5-piece rock band based in Chelsea, “Ye Olde London Town”, England. They are a superb live band as well as a great recording band.

Recently Slam Cartel released the double A side single “Vanishing Worlds / Hypnotized”. After listening to both tracks, I understood why it was the double A side single. I do not know how they crafted and how long they took to complete the tracks, but both of them are very well written and recorded. This is true rock music, and the polished sound and fabulous vocals are very appealing.
The songs are available via iTunes; https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/vanishing-worlds-hypnotised/id944125313

Here is the lyric music video for “Hypnotized”

I personally like “Vanishing Words” more, I feel this is my kind of sounds. You can listen to a part of the track on this teaser promo video.

Slam Cartel are;
Gary Moffat – Vocals.
Terence Warville – Guitar.
Damian J Fawsett – Lead Guitar.
Marc Neudeck – Bass.
Steve Campkin – Drums

Slam Cartel started as an idea in Terence Warville’s mind. On a boat, in the sun, with nothing more than a guitar and a tape recorder the seeds were sown for the thirteen killer tracks on critically acclaimed debut album “Handful of Dreams”. The songs took shape with the guidance of producer George De Angelis, as the positions were filled by able musicians, including Marc Neudeck on Bass, Tom Hendriksen on Guitar and Steve Campkin on Drums.

As the band stormed stages at the Scala, Sonisphere, Hammerfest and Hard Rock Hell, the singles were snapped up one after another by Planet Rock, TBFM and countless independent radio stations around the world.

In 2014, there was a line up change, with Gary Moffatt taking over vocal duties and Damo Fawcett filling the Lead Guitar role. With this new and stronger line up, the live show reached new heights, and it brought the release of the AA side single “Vanishing Worlds/Hypnotised”.
A Live act to be reckoned with, they are also kings in the studio; for “Vanishing Worlds / Hypnotised”, they teamed with producers George de Angelis and Grammy nominee Mandy Parnell. “Vanishing Worlds / Hypnotised” are proof that Slam Cartel have evolved as a band, maintaining their well known “Slam Sound” the songs would not sound out of place on 2011’s “Handful of Dreams” album.

Since “Handful of Dreams” was released in 2011, Slam Cartel have been steadily conquering the press and public with their now familiar rock sound, combining memorable hooks and epic riffs. They don’t sound like anyone else, they don’t look like anyone else, a true band from Olde London Town, they play like Demons and smell like Rock ‘n’ Roll.
2015 looks set carry Slam Cartel even higher with an EP planned for later in the year and even more live shows.
