Hailing from the East Midlands, Monarchs probably create and perform the heaviest indie-rock sound you are likely to currently hear.  They have just released their new song You Got Me, which I believe, is their third single. The trio keep to a mid-to-slow tempo groove with a punchy rhythm. The hard hitting powerful intro leads to a languid and sweetly seductive vocal. The guitar sounds are challenging but they keep the hook going, and the drums and the bass hold the momentum all the way through. With all these elements together, Monarchs have crafted You Got Me into a heroic and appealing anthem. This song truly leaves you wanting for more.
