Scavengers
New Single: Deadlock

Almost five months ago, and completely out of the blue, a new band, Scavengers (aka Scvngrs) from Cardiff released their debut single “Bodysnatcher”. This track is only 2 minutes and 12 seconds, but it is just long enough to give you a feel of their fresh sound and enthusiasm. Another track “Merope” was coupled for the release which showed the band’s interest in a wide range of songwriting styles.

Scavengers‘ new single “Deadlock” was released with a well suited lyric video. The foundation of their sound is built on 60’s rock’n’roll but somehow they have managed to craft their sound to make it feel contemporary with simple but appealing guitar to lead the tune. The guitar talks back to the vocals which deliver the message of a frustrating and irritating experience with modern life. “Deadlock” is a song which contains a variety of elements keep you interested. It is still early days, but I’m sure that Scavengers are going to maintain their uniqueness and will continue to stand out.
