Single: Jump the Gun

Hailing from Dublin, Ireland, Sunburn are an alternative rock band formed in the late 2019 after they met in BIMM Dublin.

Sunburn released their debut single Jump the Gun recently. The song begins with a soothing intro. As soon as the vocals come in, it becomes bouncy and your foot starts tapping without you realising it and when you hear the chorus, you are likely to join in with the singing. The song becomes increasingly catchy and more authentic as it moves along. It is a fresh and enjoyable sound. Sunburn have created something new from their influences, notably Inhaler, Catfish and the Bottlemen, or somewhere along that line. As this is only the song they have released, there is a long way to go. I am sure there is a lot more to come from them, and I am looking forward to hearing further material from the quintet. Sunburn are definitely one to watch out for, and they will soon be taking over the indie/alternative rock scene far and wide and not just on their home-ground of Ireland.
