DELIGHTS are a young band based in Manchester who create and perform original dreampop. Even though they are still young (just in their late teens), the band have over three years experience of gigging and releasing their music.

Loverboy begins with comfortably light and pleasant guitars which are accompanied by modest drums and bass. Then the gentle, authentic vocal kicks in naturally, with the song having a melancholic feel. The bass line is just right and doesn’t over do it and throughout the song it provides a solid backbone. The quartet seem to know about their direction and songwriting and they have crafted a stunning and refreshing tune. If you were heading to summer festivals around the country this time last year, it would have been the best song to enjoy for the atmosphere. DELIGHTS are definitely the band to watch.

Since the release of their self-titled debut EP in September 2017, DELIGHTS have been releasing singles constantly. Loverboy is their second single this year. The bonus is that the band added both the original and the acoustic versions  of their previous single One Step Forward (Two Steps Backwards) as a double B-side.
